The Durabuild Panel is the core component of our patented modular building system that saves time, saves money, improves strength and efficiency, and provides a superior finishing surface over conventional building techniques.
Durabuild panels are formed by bonding purpose designed inserts between either MgO or Fibre Cement sheets. These fabricated wall panels function essentially as permanent formwork which when erected and braced are filled with concrete to provide the structural integrity of the wall. Lightweight concrete can be used for non load bearing walls.
Additional load capacity can be added where necessary by inserting deformed steel reinforcing bars into the wall cavities before pouring the concrete. Your Structural Engineer will design a schedule to comply with local regulations and conditions.
The MgO or fibre-cement sheets form the outer skins of the panels providing a smooth, straight, easy to finish surface to which a wide range of finishes can be easily applied. Please note that the MgO or fibre cement sheets used are 100% asbestos free.
The flexibility of the system allows curved, angular, square and straight walls to be easily constructed, permitting almost endless architectural design options.
The Durabuild panel system has less impact on the environment while its durability and performance qualities make it more sustainable than other building methods.
