A simple step by step process to build a typical two level home :-

  1. Foundation - Prepare the site, excavate footings, install plumbing conduits, steel reinforcing to specification, pour concrete and insert wall starter rebars.

  1. Panel Installation - Setout and fix tracks; erect, join and brace wall panels; insert door and window subframes if using them; insert plumbing and electrical conduits where required and insert rebars to Engineer's schedule.

  1. Concrete Pour - Concrete is poured into the cavity of the panels progressively in layers and consolidated to avoid air pockets. The fibre cement skins remain in place to form the finishing surfaces of the wall.

  1. Floor Installation - Floor decking is erected with ample bracing support; utilities and reinforcing steel inserted; concrete poured and starter bars for upper level walls inserted.

  1. Upper Level Walls - Same method as for ground level with the addition of fixing a top plate for connecting rafters or roof trusses

  1. Roof Installation - Connect rafters or trusses, battens and fix roofing.

  1. Other Trades - Fix ceilings and cornice, architraves, stair cases, windows and doors, fixtures and fittings etc.

  1. Painting & Finishing - Set joints and paint or finish with preferred coating or cladding.

  1. Clean Up Site - Final inspection - Hand over.
